Some of my earliest childhood memories involve playing with Tonka trucks in the stone quarry where my father worked. As soon as I was old enough, I began working at the quarry myself. First, as a Quality Control intern before moving into the Scale House where I got a chance to pull back the curtain and see how the day-to-day operations were managed. 

Fast forward a few years and I found myself traveling to tropical destinations as part of the marketing team for a one-of-a-kind destination music festival producer. I learned of the unique value in quality copywriting as a means for reaching an audience while being able to hone my skills as a writer through creating website copy, email copy, social media copy, and more. 

After enjoying my fair share of margaritas, guitar jams, and the occasional sunburn, I decided to move on from the beach life and head back to my roots. I am now able to use my 10+ years of professional writing experience and unique knowledge of the mining, machining, and construction industries to create compelling copy for clients. 

When I am not breaking down technical machining topics or musing about future trends in asphalt sales, you’ll find me on my snowboard or hiking with my wife and our two dogs in western Colorado.
